Floods in my living room

Today I came home from work to find that I couldn’t even walk inside without getting my feet wet and my entire living room was flooded. I guess that’s what happens when it storms all afternoon and your house is on a hill at the bottom of a steep driveway. So instead of relaxing and enjoying my evening, I moved furniture and then started cleaning, mopping up as much water as possible with towels and then wringing them out into the trashcan.
