Every now and then, even though my life isn't particularly "hard" in Kigali, it's nice to take a vacation. The easiest vacation is at the Serena Hotel here in town. Although it's just a few blocks from my house, it's an entirely different world, so once in a while, it's nice to treat ourselves to a lazy day by the pool.
