Peanut butter patties

Girl Scout Troop 5348 from Aiken, South Carolina, absolutely made my day today. I hadn’t realized that the Girl Scouts send cookies out to troops stationed around the world, but this morning boxes of “thank you cookies” were passed out. They were, of course, meant for the active duty Navy folks, but thankfully my colleagues are generous and I was able to eat almost half a box of peanut butter patties this afternoon. It was such a treat!
