One thing I find particularly fascinating is the way taxi drivers think about seatbelts. Although accidents are extremely common, drivers have no desire to wear their seatbelts. However, by law, they are required to. So, many use this technique:
They’ve stretched their seatbelts to just the right length so that whenever they pass a policeman, they can lay the belt across their lap so that it looks like they’re wearing it.
