A night in Alexandria

The Egyptian government forbids foreigners from staying the night in Damanhour, so we had to drive to Alexandria to spend the night, which wasn't really a bad option! It was an hour commute, but we stayed in a hotel right on the Mediterranean Sea - the first time I've ever seen the Mediterranean! The hotel itself was gorgeous and was set within the grounds of Muhammed Ali's palace.
Since we were right on the Mediterranean, we had a delicious - and enormous - fresh seafood dinner. The amount of food on the table was absolutely ridiculous, but I know we all enjoyed it.
